The biological-information processing apparatus calculates, for each of the filters, a correlation coefficient between the body motion signal and at least one of the pulse wave component and the body motion noise component and determines, on the basis of the correlation coefficient, as a pulse wave signal, the pulse wave component separated using any one filter.
