In-line valve-gated nozzles (22) for a single or multiple cavity applications wherein a valve-gated hot runner nozzle (22) has a melt channel (36) uniformly heated along the entire path. The valve pin (53) is driven by an actuation device (52) that is located adjacent to the nozzle to regulate the flow of melt. The actuation device has a linear motion and applies a uniform axial pressure on to the valve pin (53). This valve-gated nozzle can be linked directly to a machine nozzle, to an injection manifold or to a stack mold. |
