An energy chain system comprises a chain (100) wherein the links (110) are rotatably connected by rotoidal joints and the opposite sides (102, 104) of the chain are connected by cross members (106, 108). The links are provided with runners with support surfaces (126, 136, 146, 156), as well as a guide channel (200) to receive a chain portion. The side walls of the channel are provided with rollers (210) on which said support surfaces are sliding. The runner (120) of each link in the laid portion of the chain has a recess while the adjacent links are in turn provided with a runner (130) having a roller (134) and a runner (140) having a protrusion (144). |
