The present invention relates to an infrared ray cooker for heating a subject to be cooked by using infrared ray. The infrared ray cooker comprises: a frame forming a framework of the infrared ray cooker as a supporting structure; a cooking plate connected to the frame to place a subject to be cooked thereon; and an infrared ray generation device slantingly emitting infrared ray toward the cooking plate from an upper portion of the cooking plate. The infrared ray generation device comprises: an infrared ray lamp emitting infrared ray; and a reflecting plate having a parabolic shape opened toward the cooking plate while surrounding side and rear directions of the infrared ray lamp to reflect the infrared ray emitted from the infrared ray lamp toward the subject to be cooked. A straight line (l) connecting the lowest point (s) of the parabolic shape and the center of the infrared ray lamp on the cross section of the reflecting plate extends onto the cooking plate. Accordingly, the reflecting plate has a paraboloidal shape and all of the infrared rays emitted from the infrared ray lamp can be emitted to the subject to be cooked without loss, and thus an infrared ray cooker capable of strong and uniform infrared penetration can be provided. |
