The present invention relates to a lane change prediction apparatus, and a lane change prediction method. The lane change prediction apparatus predicts a lane change by previously calculating probability that a target vehicle changes a lane. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the lane change prediction apparatus comprises: a searching module obtaining a distance to a specific point on a route; a vehicle sensing module obtaining acceleration of the target vehicle and the distance to the target vehicle; and a calculation module calculating the probability that the target vehicle is cut in or cut out based on the distance to the specific point, the distance to the target vehicle, and the acceleration of the target vehicle. |
