Disclosed is a controller for a vehicle air conditioner with an improved knob impact absorbing structure capable of preventing reliability by always allowing damage to an intended part due to an impact. The controller for the vehicle air conditioner has a simple structure, thereby being easy to manufacture and repair. In addition, the controller for the vehicle air conditioner can be commonly used for different models without a decrease in design freedom of an inter fascia panel and preventing vibration and a decrease in the durability while preventing a decrease in the sense of manipulating the knob. The controller for the vehicle air conditioner includes the knob formed in a controller body installed in the inter fascia panel, protruding to a rear side of a vehicle, and controlling the operation of the air conditioner by rotating and a shaft unit joined to the knob, rotating with the knob when the knob rotates, and transmitting torque. A shaft coupling port wherein the shaft unit is inserted is formed in the knob. A bridge facing an end of the shaft unit and covering at least a part of the shaft coupling port is formed in the shaft coupling port. Accordingly, the controller for the vehicle air conditioner is capable of preventing damage to unintended parts caused by the direct power transmission to the part where the impact is applied, improving the reliability of the impact absorbing structure, preventing operational noise by having non friction with other components, and improving the sense of manipulating the knob by preventing a knob from being pushed. |
