Disclosed is a method for synchronizing a file of a terminal device. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method comprises: a step of determining whether a file, which is divided into a plurality of chunk files, is changed; a step of calculating a hash value of each of the divided chuck files when it is determined that the file is changed; a step of transmitting a hash value list, made of the calculated hash value, to a server; a step of receiving a transmission request of a chuck file corresponding to a hash value, which is not stored in a server, among the hash value included in the hash value list; and a step of transmitting the chunk file to the server in response to the transmission request. The present invention is to provide a method for synchronizing a file to improve security by saving a file as an encrypted chuck file. |
