摘要 The present invention provides a guardrail integrity monitoring system and a guardrail integrity monitoring method. According to the present invention, an optical fiber is integrally disposed in a guardrail and a degree and a position of damage to or a deformation of the guardrail can be achieved by a configuration of comparing and analyzing the an integrity allowable range according to a change of an optical signal flowing through the optical fiber. The present invention includes: the guardrail including the optical fiber therein; at least one measurement module disposed at a certain position of the guardrail and measuring a wavelength value or a light amount through interaction for exchanging the optical signal; and a control module comparing and analyzing the wavelength value or the light amount to the pre-set integrity allowable range after the wavelength value or the light amount measured by the measurement module is input and transmitting positional information on the measurement module and accident occurrence information to a pre-set receiving position in accordance with a result of the comparison and analysis. Hence, according to the present invention, the optical fiber is integrally disposed in the guardrail and the comparative analysis with respect to the integrity allowable range is performed as the optical signal flowing through the optical fiber changes, and thus the degree of the damage to or the deformation of the guardrail can be effectively grasped and the position of the damage to or the deformation of the guardrail can be accurately grasped.
