The present invention provides a battery transport unit for an automatic guided vehicle which has an improved structure to stably separate a battery from the automatic guided vehicle and stably connect the separated battery to a charging terminal, or to mount the charged battery on the automatic guided vehicle, and an automatic battery replacement apparatus for an automatic guided vehicle having the same. The battery transport unit for an automatic guided vehicle according to the present invention includes: a transport frame having a battery containing chamber having both opened sides to contain a battery; a carrying arm movably installed on the transport frame such that the carrying arm is separably coupled to the battery to be separated from or mounted on the automatic guided vehicle; an arm driver installed on the transport frame to move the carrying arm such that the carrying arm moves the battery along the battery containing chamber of the transport frame, and a transport frame carrying member coupled to the transport frame to rotate the transport frame around a rotational axis perpendicular to the ground. |
