The invention provides compounds having the general formula (I)wherein X is an oxygen atom; Ris a carbon, nitrogen, oxygen or sulphur atom; Ris CH, CH, N or NH; Ris a valence bond or a CH or CHgroup; m is 1, 2 or 3; n is 1 or 2; when n is 2 or m is 2 or 3, the ring containing Rmay be fused with an optionally substituted benzene ring; and each — represents a single or double bond provided that one double bond extends from the carbon atom to which R-C≡C- is bonded and that no ring carbon atom bears two double bonds; and R, Rand Rrepresent a wide range of substituents. The present invention further provides development of a pharmaceutical composition for treating diseases or disorders of the lower urinary tract, migraine, gastroesophageal reflux disease, anxiety disorders, abuse, substance dependence and substance withdrawal disorders, neuropathic pain, and fragile X syndrome disorders, comprising the compound of formula I or a hydrate, enantiomer, diastereomer or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof in admixture with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. |
