The present invention relates to a method for effectively managing a battery in a wireless communications system, and a terminal using the same. According to the present invention, provided is the method for managing a battery which comprises the following steps: verifying whether a specific timer value is present or not; determining whether a circuit switched (CS) domain signal is present or not; and transmitting a signaling access releasing display message if packet switched (PS) data is not present for a certain period of time, when the specific timer value is not present or the CS domain signal is not present. |
