The present invention relates to a medium composition for growing of Chlorella vulgaris and enhancing biomass, and a culturing method thereof and, more specifically, to a culturing method for growing of Chlorella vulgaris and enhancing biomass in an improved medium, wherein the improved medium has glucose as a carbon source and arginine as a nitrogen source into a BG11 medium. Effects of growing of Chlorella vulgaris and enhancing of the biomass are obtained by using the improved BG11 medium through the present invention, thereby being able to be used in producing foods, pharmaceutical raw materials, bio-energy, and the like using the same. |
