PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce test environment construction costs in a communication system comprising a gateway and a call processing device that performs call processing in cooperation with the gateway.SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a communication system comprising a gateway and a call processing device. In the communication system of the present invention, the gateway makes a call to the call processing device on the basis of a call from first pseudo call processing signal processing means; the call processing device converts an identifier related to the destination of the incoming call into a prescribed identifier and makes a call by return; when the gateway receives an incoming call destined to an identifier related to a first communication interface from the call processing device, the gateway has a second communication interface receive a call by return; and when the gateway receives an incoming call destined to an identifier related to second pseudo call processing signal processing means from the call processing device, the gateway has the second pseudo call processing signal processing means receive a call.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
