The present invention relates to a getter composition comprising novel crystalline boehmite particles having excellent hydroscopic properties and transparency. According to the present invention, the boehmite particles have crystal grain sizes of 1 to 5 nm and full width at half-maximum of 2 to 6 for a peak of a (120) surface measured from X-ray diffraction analysis using Cu Kα beam at 40 kV and 40 mA.
