Provided is a VOIP-based method and device for a multi-party call of a party line. The method comprises: acquiring configuration information about a party line group, and configuring the party line group according to the configuration information about the party line group; occupying a path of RTP resources in the configured party line group, so as to create a VOIP conference resource; when a new user needs to be added into a configured party line group, occupying a path of RTP resources for being in a time slot connection with the new user; and adding the RTP resources which are in a time slot connection with the new user into the VOIP conference resource created by the party line group. The method and device of the present invention can centrally mix voice data of various party line group users in a network element, so as to achieve a multi-party call, and the configuration of the party line group in the network element is simple. |
