The present invention relates to management and sales control of food to which the international standard product code (GS1) is applied for sales. The present invention provides a method where an expiry date is inserted into GS1 and a program recognizes the expiry date of the product and manages and controls the sales of the product by using the expiry date. A manufacturing company inserts an expiry date into a product code (the method of insertion is described in figure 1-1), and a sales manager manages the product by using the expiry date. A final seller receives the information before payment and may reject sales. By doing so, the present invention helps secure a safe food distribution network and is easy to be applied to the market since additional equipment is not required. |
