PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of effectively utilizing an adsorbent used for a method of removing an NOx and/or SOx and a method of effectively removing the NOx and/or SOx particularly by reusing the adsorbent. SOLUTION: This method of removing the NOx and/or SOx comprises adsorbing the NOx and/or SOx in gas by passing the gas through the adsorbent, then readsorbing the NOx and/or SOx in the gas by reusing the adsorbent, in which the adsorbent is subjected to a heat treatment and the gas inlet side of the adsorbent before the readsorption is installed as a gas output side in reusing and the gas outlet side of the adsorbent before the readsorption is installed as a gas inlet side in reusing.
