PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make biomass into more solubilized matters in a shorter time and also at more saved energy.SOLUTION: A pulverization assistant showing weakly basic properties is added to biomass containing cellulose in such a manner that the atmosphere during heating pulverization is held to a neutral atmosphere (pH6.5 to 7.5) or a weakly basic atmosphere (pH7.5 to 9.5), and pulverization is performed at a temperature exceeding 150°C for about 3 hours. In this way, more solubilized matters such as oligosaccharide can be obtained in a short time and also at more saved energy compared with the case where heating pulverization is performed without adding a pulverization assistant showing weakly basic properties.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
