Light emitting diode (LED) lamps of any number are arranged indoors, the signal transmit power of each LED lamp is set to be equal, the absolute position of each LED lamp is fixed and known, a plurality of receiving devices are configured on a terminal needing to be located, the relative positions of the receiving devices are known, the light signal power of the receiving devices on the terminal is measured, the geometrical center position of the receiving devices is calculated and determined, and the position coordinates of the terminal can be obtained.
