PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to set notification and make it possible to reliably notify the user of notification preset by an authorized person.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus (U) including: first setting means (C5E) for performing setting of an operation of a notification member (11) when an administrator is authenticated by authentication means (C4); second setting means (C6D) for performing setting of the operation of the notification member (11) when the administrator is not authenticated by the authentication means (C4); operation setting means (C10) for setting the operation of the notification member (11), when operating the notification member (11), while putting priority on the details of the settings set by the first setting means (C5E) over the details of the settings set by the second setting means (C6D); and operation means (C11) for operating the notification member (11) on the basis of the settings set by the operation setting means (C10).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
