[Problem] To provide an effect giving device capable of solving a problem that sound is localized inside the head when a headphone is used, and a problem that tone color varies depending on the type of headphone. [Solution] A DSP 10 performs speaker adjustment equalizer processing in which a full band is processed in seven bands. If a headphone 320 is selected by an output selection means, the DSP 10 performs full-band headphone adjustment equalizer processing in three bands out of the equalizer processing, and replaces processing in the remaining bands with inside-the-head localization feeling alleviation processing for the headphone 320. Consequently, the headphone 320 and a speaker 318 are used exclusively, whereby by using the same program storage area, the alleviation of the inside-the-head localization feeling and the adjustment of tone color when the headphone 320 is used can be efficiently performed. |
