CONSTITUTION: To provide a content distribution system 10 comprising a content server 12, in which the content server is connected to a game device 20 via a network 14 so as to communicate freely with the game device, and when reservation purchase of a content is decided according to a user's operation, the content server distributes a reserved content to the game device, in which the reserved content is a content which is obtained by modifying part of a normal content capable of being executed on the game device so as to become an execution disabled state (start-up disabled state), and when a selling start date or execution possible date of the content arrives, according to the user's operation, the game device downloads a modification program of the reserved content, for modifying the reserved content, therefore the reserved content is modified into the normal content.EFFECT: As an effect, only the modification program is applied to the content which is reserved and purchased, so that the content can be executed soon after a selling start date passes.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
