PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display board being hardly recognized even if a tone jump phenomenon occurs.SOLUTION: A display device comprises: a liquid crystal cell that includes a display part 41 in which a transmission state and a non-transmission state are changed over by selective voltage application to a space between a pair of transparent electrodes; a light source that illuminates the liquid crystal cell; and a transmission-type reflection plate that is disposed between the light source and the liquid crystal cell, reflects incident light passing through the liquid crystal cell and entering from a front side to a liquid crystal cell side, and passes backlight from the light source to the liquid crystal cell side. The transmission-type reflection plate includes: a transmissive first coloring part that colors a background of the display part 41; and a second coloring part that is continuously arranged at a predetermined space. The first coloring part includes a dot coloring part in which size of a dot gradually varies.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
