A method and an apparatus for determining a directory category and an automatic categorization method and apparatus. The method for determining a directory category comprises: determining a first directory category according to a preset first correspondence (S101); receiving message for changing a directory of a user, and generating a directory change identifier comprising directory change content (S102); determining a statistics start time corresponding to a first directory identifier in the directory change identifier, and determining a first time interval corresponding to the first directory identifier according to the statistics start time (S103); taking statistics of the directory change identifier comprising the first directory identifier within the first time interval, to obtain a first statistical result (S104); and if the first statistical result meets a first preset rule, changing the first directory category comprising the first correspondence to a second directory category comprising a second correspondence, and set the second directory as a basic directory category (S105). Precision of a categorization result of a resource processing record can be improved. |
