PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately evaluate similarity of files using an entropy value for every zone.SOLUTION: A similarity evaluation device 3 for evaluating a comparison source file and a comparison destination file divides the comparison source file and the comparison destination file into plural zones respectively, for creating comparison source division files and comparison destination division files. Then the similarity evaluation device 3 creates a comparison source zone feature amount and a comparison destination zone feature amount which indicate a predetermined entropy value for each zone of the comparison source division files and comparison destination division files. Then the similarity evaluation device 3 performs correction by DP matching, to the comparison source zone feature amount and comparison destination zone feature amount respectively, and the comparison source zone feature amount and comparison destination zone feature amount to which correction has been performed are compared for every zone, for evaluating similarity of the comparison source file and comparison destination file.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
