PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical system capable of controlling an unnecessary alarm so that medical staff member engaging in measuring unit replacement or maintenance work does not have to turn off an alarm manually.SOLUTION: A medical system 100 comprises a portable terminal 200, a transmitter 300, and a receiver 400. The portable terminal 200, which is carried by a medical staff member, sends predetermined identification information. The transmitter 300 acquires and transmits a patient's biological information. The receiver 400 receives the biological information from the transmitter 300. When connected to the portable terminal 200 for communications, the transmitter 300 acquires the identification information from the portable terminal 200 and transmits the identification information to the receiver 400. If there is an abnormality in a sensor acquiring the biological information or measurement environment, the transmitter 300 transmits technical alarm information indicating the abnormality to the receiver 400. When receiving the technical alarm information, the receiver 400 determines whether it has received the identification information as well and controls an alarm when it has received the identification information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5 |
