PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink tank and a recording device which can surely notify that mounting of the ink tank is completed whichever manner a user takes to mount the ink tank.SOLUTION: A second electrode pad 153 in a side of an ink tank 1 and a second contact point 153 in a side of a holder 150 are connected.
