METHOD FOR PRODUCING A SILVER-CONTAINING GLASS POWDER, AND USE OF THE GLASS POWDER

The invention relates to a method for producing a silver-containing glass powder. A glass powder is added to a salt melt at a temperature ranging from 250 °C to 550 °C, wherein a maximum temperature which lies 50 °C below the glass transition temperature TG of the glass powder is not exceeded. The salt melt is formed using silver nitrate and sodium nitrate. The glass powder is held in the salt melt until a specifiable proportion of silver ions are diffused into the glass, at which point the silver-containing glass powder is separated from the salt melt.
