The present invention provides an elevator hoistway door lock and an elevator system for the same. The elevator hoistway door lock includes a door lock lower plate, a locking hook plate, a mechanical locking mechanism, and an electric switch mechanism. The door lock lower plate is connected to the locking hook plate through a rotary shaft of the locking hook plate. The mechanical locking mechanism and the electric switch mechanism are driven to complete opening and closing operations by the rotation of the locking hook plate. The elevator hoistway door lock according to the present invention completes the opening and closing operations by the rotation of the locking hook plate, has advantages such as relatively high precision, safety, and reliability, and can be applied to a door system having requirements for mechanical car door locking. |
