[Classes 120 (ii) and 120 (ii:)] In a ring spinning-machine, particularly for carded wool yarn, infinitely variable changespeed gears or variable speed motors are provided for the delivery rollers 8, the feed rollers 9, and the condenser bobbin rollers 10, and indicating means are provided for the spindle speed, the twist, the delivery, and the draft. As shown in Figs. 1 and 2, the rollers 8 are driven from the main shaft 12 through. a change-speed gear 11, the rollers 9 through a change-speed gear 16 arranged in series with the gear 11, and the rollers 10 through adjustable pulleys 19, 21. Indicators 33 .. 36 are arranged respectively to indicate the spindle speed, the ratio of spindle speed to delivery, the delivery speed, and ratio of delivery speed to feeding.
