The present invention relates to a control valve of a power steering pump for a vehicle. An objective of the present invention is to provide a control valve of a power steering pump for a vehicle which has a support piston to prevent eccentricity of a valve spool when the valve spool operates. The control valve of a power steering pump for a vehicle comprises: a valve main body comprising a space portion formed therein, an oil inlet to allow oil pumped from a steering pump to flow into the space portion, an oil outlet formed in front of the oil inlet to discharge the oil from the space portion, an oil return hole formed behind the oil inlet to discharge the oil of the space portion to the steering pump; a valve spool installed in the space portion to slide in a front and a rear direction to open and close the oil return hole; and a first elastic member installed on the valve spool to provide an elastic force to move the valve spool in the front direction. The valve spool comprises: a spool member which divides the space portion into a first and a second pressure chamber in the front and the rear direction, and comprises a first piston installed in the space portion to slide in the front and the rear direction, a first support rod protruding forwards from the first piston, whose one end is fixed on the first piston, and a second piston installed on the other end of the first support rod; a second support rod protruding forwards from the second piston, whose one end is fixed on the second piston; and a support piston installed on the second support rod on a position separated from the second piston in the forward direction to be supported on the inner circumferential surface of the valve main body between the oil inlet and the oil return hole to prevent a rim of the second piston from entering the oil outlet when eccentrically loaded by the movement of the spool member, and provided with a through hole penetrated in the front and the rear direction to allow the oil to pass therethrough. |
