A roll angle and the roll moment caused by right and left suspensions are calculated from an inner pressure value and a displacement of the right and left suspensions measured at a given time. A load-displacement characteristic corresponding to the average measured inner pressure value of the right and left suspensions is selected as the common load-displacement characteristic for the right and left suspensions when an automatic height control was not performed. The roll angle when the automatic height control was not performed is obtained on the basis of the calculated roll angle and roll moment, the selected load-displacement characteristic, and a roll stiffness coefficient stored as a value that is intrinsic to the vehicle to which the suspensions are mounted before measuring the displacement and inner pressure value. |
