<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a paper towel that is excellent in a water-absorbing property. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a paper towel in which, when papermaking a papermaking raw material, a wet crepe is imparted before a step of drying by a Yankee dryer and a dry crepe is imparted by drying using the Yankee dryer to carry out an online application of the wet crepe and the dry crepe.
