A CPU (10) included in a control unit (1) that performs motor current control of a multi-phase motor (6), based on steering torque, calculates a control amount for supplying a motor current and outputs PWM signals to switching devices (T1, T2, T3, T4, T5, and T6) for controlling motor current supply. When there is detected the duty ratio, of the PWM signal, that is the same or larger than a predetermined value, the gain of motor current feedback is decreased. |
