A supply system for electronic boards of an electrical distribution system has protection boards (SSPCs)(2a, 2b, 2c) to control the supply of power along a protected pathway (3a, 3b, 3c) from a power line (4a, 4b, 4c). Each protection board (2a, 2b, 2c) has a voltage converter (13a, 13b, 13c) to provide an internal supply voltage for the protection board on the basis of a supply voltage. The voltage converter (13a) of a first protection board (2a) is connected to a second protection board (2b) so as to be able to provide the internal supply of the second protection board (2b) in case of failure of the voltage converter (13b) of the second protection board (2b). The system is suitable for an aircraft and allows redundancy for protection board supply without the need for a dedicated supply board (11a, 11b, figure 3). |
