<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner achieving transfer property even on paper with a large roughness degree such as recycled paper, as well as having excellent low-temperature fixability, hot offset resistance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The toner comprises toner particles containing at least a binder resin, a colorant, wax and silica particles A, wherein the silica particles A have a number average particle diameter of 60 nm or more and 300 nm or less of the primary particles thereof, and are firmly adhered to the surfaces of the toner particles by a treatment using a hot blast.
