<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a more fine three-dimensional branched nanofiber having self-strength, and a filter containing the nanofiber, and manufacturing method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The three-dimensional branched nanofiber is produced by dissolving a polymer containing one or more kinds of functional groups selected from a hydroxy group, a carbonyl group and an ether group in an aqueous acetic acid solution, followed by a electrospinning method under humidity conditioning.
