PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a helmet whose shell body can be made compact when not used, furthermore its set up work can be performed quite rapidly when to wear it.SOLUTION: A helmet comprises a hard shell body 1 that covers the head of a wearer. The shell body 1 includes: a dome shaped shell member 2 for covering the upper part of the head of a wearer; and a ring shaped shell member 3 for covering all the side periphery of the head of a wearer. The dome shaped shell member 2 is reversibly connected to the ring shaped shell member 3 via a pivot 4. The ring shaped shell member 3 houses the dome shaped shell member 2 in a reversed posture thereinside. |
