A valve for an aerosol container has a valve plate, a valve subassembly and an accommodating chamber (6) for the valve subassembly. The upper side of the accommodating chamber is provided with a mounting opening for inserting the valve subassembly. The mounting opening of the accommodating chamber (6) is closed by a surface (8). The surface is provided with a through hole for an output component (3). When the output component (3) is axially supported on a seal ring under the function of a pressure spring, the sealing ring is clamped between the surface (8) and an annular supporting surface (19) which surrounds the mounting opening of the accommodating chamber (6) and furthermore closes the opening (11) of the output component (3). An air passage (15) is arranged on the outer circumference of the accommodating chamber, the air passage extends to the circumference of the seal ring from the lower side of the valve plate. A clearance (s) is arranged between the output component and a through hole (9) which surrounds the output component, and furthermore the clearance extends to the end surface of the seal ring (4). The clearance and the air passage form a flowing path, thereby pressurizing an aerosol container (16) which is closed by means of the valve assembly. |
