The veranda has a gutter (500) comprising an outer edge (520) and a base (530) that forms a water flow surface. A case (310) of a roller shutter (300) is placed on the outer edge of the gutter. The case is arranged with respect to the gutter such that a rotational axis (Av) of the case is positioned before the outer edge of the gutter and above the base of the gutter. The gutter has stiffening pieces (600) arranged uniformly to avoid deformation of the gutter due to additional load.
