<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high damping composition capable of forming a high damping member that is excellent in productivity and workability when forming the high damping member as well as having high damping performance to be able to fully use as a vibration control damper for construction and large breaking elongation. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the high damping composition, wherein a block copolymer consisting of a methacrylic block copolymer (M) and an acrylic block copolymer (A) whose proportion is at least 55 mass% and at most 90 mass%, is further blended with an unvulcanized rubber.
