PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce stress of a leaf valve of a second damper than ever before, in improvement of a shock absorber, in which an extension-side damping force is generated in a first damper and a pressure-side damping force is generated in a second damper.SOLUTION: A second damper d2 includes: a cylinder 1; a reservoir R formed outside of the cylinder 1; an extension-side chamber A and a pressure-side chamber B formed in the cylinder 1 to be partitioned by a piston 3 which is held by a piston rod 2; a first pressure-side passage 30 formed in the piston 3 to allow working fluid to move from the pressure-side chamber B to the extension-side chamber A; and a first pressure-side damping force generating means V1 applying resistance to working fluid passing through the first pressure-side passage 30 and constituted of leaf valves; a base member 4 partitioning between the pressure-side chamber B and the reservoir R; a second pressure-side passage 41 formed to the base member 4 and allowing the working fluid to move from the pressure-side chamber B to the reservoir R; and a second pressure-side damping force generating means V2 applying the resistance to the working fluid passing through the second pressure-side passage 41. |
