<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device capable of objectively and sequentially evaluating the presence/absence and magnitude of a hair restoration effect on eyelashes and the effect of improving decorativeness of the eyelashes by mascara, treatment for the eyelashes, an eyelash beauty liquid, various kinds of supplements, food and drink or the like. <P>SOLUTION: In the analyzing method of eyelashes and the analyzer therefor, on the basis of a correction image in which an image of an eye to be analyzed is segmented from a black-and-white photograph of closed eyes and the image is corrected such that a histogram by brightness is distributed and spread from the darkest value to the brightest value in a horizontal axis direction, measurement of the length of the longest eyelash, preparation of a binary image and the histogram, line scan on the eyelashes, output of time sequential signals in which a horizontal axis is the time and a vertical axis is the brightness (luminance), and Fourier transformation of the time sequential signals are performed, the length of the longest eyelash, the amount of the eyelashes, the thickness of the eyelashes and the number of the eyelashes are obtained, and two or more pieces of data are compared. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
