PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection assembly and a concrete member connection device using the connection assembly that ensures strength against shearing loading and also reduces the manufacturing cost of a male retention member. SOLUTION: A connection assembly that is composed of a female connection member (1) and a male connection member (2). The female connection member (1) comprises a shell (3) in which a receiving chamber (4) having an opening at the front end is formed. Arranged axially slidable in the receiving chamber (4) is a wedge-like female retention member (12) that is divided in the circumferential direction. A pushing means (15) is used to push the female retention member (12) forward. The male connection member (2) comprises a male retention member (23) at a front end thereof. A connection body (22) in the male connection member (2) has a hollow section (22a) of which the inner wall is formed with a female thread (22b). A thread-free cylindrical section (22c) is provided in front of the female thread (22b). At least a portion of the base of the male retention member (23) is provided with a cylindrical section (25b) fitted into the cylindrical section (22c). A male thread (23c) is engraved at a further rear position of the base for engagement with the female thread (22b) of the connection body (22). |
