PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging lens having a small F-number and capable of achieving high performance, and an imaging apparatus including the imaging lens.SOLUTION: An imaging lens 1 substantially comprises, in order from an object side, a negative first lens L1, a positive second lens L2, a positive third lens L3, and a negative fourth lens L4, a positive fifth lens L5, a positive sixth lens L6, and a negative seventh lens L7. When f12 represents a composite focal length of the first lens L1 and second lens L2, f represents a focal length of an entire system, and νd7 and νd3 represent Abbe numbers with respect to d-lines of materials of the seventh lens L7 and the third lens L3 respectively satisfy conditional expressions: (1) f12/f<-3.2, (2) νd7<55, and (3) 40<νd3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
