摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine variable valve gear mechanism capable of suppressing the generation of oscillation in the base circle of a cam base section during the rotation of a shaft in a case of fixing the shaft to the cam base section into which the shaft is loosely inserted by press-fitting of a pin.SOLUTION: This variable valve gear mechanism comprises: an inner shaft 10B rotating along with a crankshaft; a cam base section 31 provided with an insertion hole 36 into which the inner shaft 10B is loosely inserted; and a cam lobe section that can change a protrusion amount from an outer circumferential surface of the cam base section 31. The inner shaft 10B loosely inserted into the insertion hole 36 is fixed to the cam base section 31 by press-fitting a pin 40 inserted toward a radial center of the cam base section 31. A central axis NC of the insertion hole 36 is eccentric to a side of the cam base section 31 opposite to the side of inserting the pin 40 with respect to the central axis BC of the cam base section 31.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
