PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbocharger rotation detection device capable of always accurately and surely detecting an instantaneous rotation speed, regardless of difference even when the shapes and characteristics of vanes of the turbocharger are different.SOLUTION: A turbocharger rotation speed detection device for detecting a rotation speed of a turbocharger mounted on an engine includes: a peak detection circuit for detecting a peak of a detection signal from a turbo sensor disposed so as to approach a compressor vane of the turbocharger; and an instantaneous rotation speed calculation circuit for calculating an instantaneous rotation speed of the turbocharger on the basis of a peak signal detected by the peak detection circuit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 13 |
