A method and an apparatus for controlling low voltage battery charging are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the method for controlling low voltage battery charging comprises the following steps of: determining a charging status of a low voltage battery based on voltage of the low voltage battery; setting base charging voltage according to the charging status of the low voltage battery; and setting charging voltage on the low voltage battery based on the base charging voltage, a driving mode of a vehicle, and a charging status of a high voltage battery.
