摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a friction damper which can stably acquire absorption of vibration energy by friction without being affected by dimensional accuracy, and which can achieve further increase in length.SOLUTION: A friction damper 1 includes: a columnar member 2; a hollow body 3 which faces with respect to the columnar member 2 relatively in an axial direction A in a movable manner, and in which the columnar member 2 is arranged inside; a friction member 6 which comes into contact with an outer peripheral surface 5 of the columnar member 2 on an inner peripheral surface 4 slidably in the axial direction A, and which is fixed to the hollow body 3; a sealed space 9 provided between an outer peripheral surface 7 of the friction member 6 and an inner peripheral surface 8 of the hollow body 3; a fluid 10 pressurized and filled in the sealed space 9; and a hollow member 13 which comes into contact with the cylindrical outer peripheral surface 7 of the friction member 6 on a cylindrical inner peripheral surface 11, which forms the sealed space 9 in cooperation with the inner peripheral surface 8 of the hollow body 3 on a cylindrical outer peripheral surface 12, which is mounted on the hollow body 3 and which surrounds the friction member 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
