PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control device which is stabilized in a rotation behavior when leaned from a rich state immediately after a start.SOLUTION: An engine control device comprises: injection amount control means which controls a fuel injection amount of an injector 67 for injecting fuel to a combustion chamber 31 or an intake port 32 of an engine 1, and sets the fuel injection amount so that an air-fuel ratio becomes rich at a start of the engine; rotation speed detection means which detects an actual rotation speed of the engine; and leaning operation amount calculation means which calculates a leaning operation amount according to a difference between the actual rotation speed and a target rotation speed when the actual rotation speed is higher than the prescribed target rotation speed after a start of the engine. The injection amount control means makes the engine control device reduce the leaning operation amount from the fuel injection amount when the leaning operation amount is smaller than a prescribed maximum operation amount, makes the engine control device reduce the maximum operation amount from the fuel injection amount when the leaning operation amount is not smaller than the maximum operation amount, and also makes the engine control device increase the maximum operation amount according to a lapse time after a start of the engine.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
